Eleni deals with due diligence, filing and prosecution of trade mark applications in the UK, EU and around the world. She is also involved in copyright, design and company name matters. She has experience in clearance searching and preparing trade mark filing strategies, in addition to advising on registrability, infringement, passing off and the validity of trade marks. Eleni deals with contentious matters before the UK IPO and EUIPO including filing and defending opposition, invalidation and revocation actions. Eleni is also a regular contributor to the CITMA Review.
Eleni graduated from the University of Kent with an Honours degree in Law in 2008 before completing the Bar Vocational Course at the College of Law in London. Subsequently, she was called to the Bars of England and Wales and the Bahamas. In 2010, Eleni obtained a Masters degree in IP law from Queen Mary, University of London. Eleni qualified in 2016 becoming a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney.
