Rose advises clients in relation to the full range of intellectual property rights, on contentious and non-contentious matters. Rose’s contentious experience includes advising clients in relation to trade marks, passing off, patents, copyright, designs and misuse of confidential information, both in pursuing and defending claims. She has worked on cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal, and is particularly involved in cases issued in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, and has experience of handling specialist small claims. Rose also regularly drafts and negotiates commercial agreements involving intellectual property, such as development agreements, licences and assignments, and advises on intellectual property issues and opportunities arising out of corporate transactions. Rose studied at the University of Oxford, at undergraduate level for a degree in Jurisprudence, and later for a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice.
