CITMA Review wins sector award
CITMA Review won a prestigious membership sector award for best magazine (under 20k circulation). This follows our bold digital visual transformation of the magazine.
The judges of the MemCom Award for best magazine (under 20k circulation) remarked on our new digital version and the substantial increase in engagement, as well the distinctive cover artwork and quality of peer-written content.
The magazine underwent a major online shift earlier this year, providing an immersive, interactive reader experience.
The change came in response to this year’s member survey, where we learned that more members than ever engage with CITMA Review online, either in addition to or instead of the physical magazine.
CITMA Review was up against stiff competition from eight other nominated finalists including the magazines from:
- Association for Specialist Fire Protection
- Association of Optometrists
- British Parking Association
- Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health
- Royal College of Podiatry
- Royal College of Surgeons of England
- Scaffolding Association
- Society for Education and Training
CITMA Head of PR and Communications Richard Hayward, along with Jackie Scully from Think Publishing, were presented with the award from comedian Lucy Porter at a ceremony in Southwark, London.
The evening was a successful one for the IP sector with CIPA’s CEO Lee Davies picking up the Memcom CEO Leadership Award and CIPA picking up a ‘highly commended’ accolade in the Best Member Engagement or Recruitment Strategy.
Created to shine a spotlight on successful membership organisations and inspire the leaders of tomorrow, the Memcom Membership Excellence Awards are open to professional bodies, trade associations, membership charities, trade unions and the wider not-for-profit membership sector.
