CITMA shortlisted for awards
We have been shortlisted for two gongs at the 2023 MemCom Excellence Awards, which celebrates the success of membership associations.
Our magazine CITMA Review and our online introductory formalities courses have been put forward for the awards, which will be announced in September.
The MemCom Excellence Awards showcases the work done by associations and chartered institutes on behalf of their members.
CITMA is a finalist in the following categories:
- Best e-learning/online education initiative for our introduction to trade mark administration and formalities course
- Best magazine with less than 20k circulation for CITMA Review.
Over the past year we have continued to invest in our offering for members - our new immersive CITMA Review format and the continued development of our on-demand courses are just two of those investments.
Our innovative new CITMA Review layout offers you the same industry leading content in a more visually impactful format, helping us to make the most of the information and analysis that we bring you.
The majority of our members now engage with the Review online, making this a key area of development for us.
Available on-demand at any time, our formalities courses allow access to the industry and support new employees with their professional development.
Our nomination in the e-learning category recognises the success of our two courses: Introduction to Trade Mark Renewals and Recordals and Introduction to Trade Mark Administration and Formalities, which combined have been taken by more than 250 people.
Offering an introduction to managing trade mark formalities to staff with less than six month’s experience, the courses complement on the job training to build confidence and knowledge.
We joined a variety of other membership bodies at the Barbican Conservatory to hear the announcements of the nominees, and to celebrate developments and innovation in the membership sector.
The nominations were announced by Memcom’s Chief Executive Julian Smith, and Executive Director Debbie Hockham.
We look forward to attending the final awards ceremony in September at the Hilton Bankside.
