EU filing stats – apology
The accuracy of the table of EUTM applications filed by UK firms published in the May issue of CITMA Review has been queried by a number of members.
We have discussed this in detail with Corsearch and it has confirmed that the data which it provided to us was incorrect.
We do not propose to publish a full amended table, but Corsearch has agreed to review the data and provide an analysis of the errors. We intend to publish the key details of this analysis in the next issue of the magazine.
Corsearch has provided us with the following apology: “Corsearch sincerely apologises for providing the incorrect EUTM data. The data we provided was mistakenly extracted from an internal test application which included duplicative information.”
