Success at National Paralegal Awards
The category for Best Trade Mark Paralegal at the 2021 National Paralegal Awards has been won by Gail Nicol, a CITMA member.
Gail sits on the CITMA Paralegal Committee and is a member of the CITMA Paralegal events working group.
She has been with Cameron Intellectual Property since June 2019.
In addition to her achievements as a Paralegal, Gail is also currently training to become a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney.
Two other CITMA Paralegals, JoAnna Emery and Kate Houten, were also shortlisted in the category.
Gail said: “I’m thrilled to have won this award and delighted to have the work that I do here at Cameron IP formally recognised in this way.
“Being a CITMA qualified paralegal has significantly helped me to advance in my career – I’m so fortunate to really love what I do and this award is the icing on the cake!
“Thanks to the judging panel and all who have given me their support”
The winners were selected from a shortlist by a panel of judges, representing the Award’s sponsors and other key industry figures.
The judging panel was led by Stephen Gowland, the 50th national President of Cilex.
Gail and the other winners will attend a winners’ lunch at the Royal Leonardo Hotel on 18th October to celebrate their achievement and to be presented with their trophy and certificate.
