We did the London Legal Walk
On the 18th of October, CITMA took part in a 10km walk across London to raise money for the London Legal Support Trust.
We were joined by our friends and supporters, Ese Akpogheneta from BAT Mark, and Daniel Hardman-Smart and Doris Akufo-Addo from Stobbs.
We raised over £800, well beyond our target of £500.
This will go towards the enormously important cause of widening access to legal support in the UK.
More than 14 million people in the UK would be unable to pay for legal support if they needed it, showing how crucial London Legal Support Trust is.
Keven Bader, who participated in the walk, said “It was a pleasure to represent CITMA at the 2021 London Legal Walk.
“We are very proud of our fundraising efforts, helping to support a very worthy cause and we enjoyed taking part alongside more than 650 other teams.”
Our route took us along the Strand along Embankment to St James’ Park, up to Hyde Park and around the Serpentine before winding back through the city to Temple.
The day was rounded off with a street party in Knight’s Templar..
We’d like to thank everyone who donated to or supported us, and we’re looking forward to next year.
